VA 45 variable area flowmeters are meant to measure gases and hence used in applications like industrial ovens, forges and furnaces, and protective gas and heating systems. The standard flowmeter is available in different connections, while conforming to standards. The device has a glass measuring cone protected with a metal sleeve and viewing glass to direct the flow properly.
